Gatherings

Our weekly worship gatherings happen at 10:00 am on Sunday mornings.  Dress is casual and the worship experience is a combination of several traditions including: Pentecostal, liturgical, and contemplative.

The following elements are common components of our weekly gatherings:  A call to worship (usually with responsive readings), singing of worship songs and hymns, a prayer response, a time to “pass the peace”, a message—teaching (with some discussion or interaction), communion and prayer (lighting candles), and a benediction.

Our goal is to involve people in the worship experience as active participants.  While some of the worship components are unfamiliar to contemporary worshipers, most are elements drawn from ancient Christian practices down through the ages (with a postmodern application).

We invite you to come and join us as we encounter the truth of God’s word in an interactive environment.
